Matthew Mooney
President
I am no stranger to volunteering and serving my community. I joined the army right out of high school and served for 7 years, traveling overseas 3 times. After getting out of the army I joined the Colorado State Patrol and served there for another 3 years. My wife and I moved to our home in Brighton East Farms in May of 2013. Our 9-year-old daughter was born here and is growing up in this neighborhood.
In 2015 I started my own business working in the construction industry. While this tends to keep me pretty busy I find ways to relax and enjoy life. I coach girls 3rd and 4th grade volleyball in Ft. Lupton as well as for I9 Sports. I am also an active member of the Brighton Elks Lodge.
When I’m not working, coaching, or volunteering I enjoy spending time with friends and family and exploring this great state and everything it has to offer. Some hobbies include snowboarding, wakeboard/wakesurf, camping, riding quads/dirtbikes/snowmobiles, fishing, hunting, and GeoCaching.
If there are any questions or concerns you would like me to address, please reach out to me at mmooney@befhoa.com or the entire board at board@befhoa.com. I look forward to building an inclusive community with all our neighbors.
